Champion Open 2006 Banner
The Champion Open 2006 tournament hosted at the VFW in Garland, Texas by Williams Shuffleboard is fast approaching (April 1-9, 2006). If you are planning to attend and have not yet made reservations or pre-registered, you can download the flyer from the website with two format options for you to download - (Adobe PDF format or Microsoft word format): The Texas State Championship 2006 tournament in March was a great success with 80 registered players from across the State of Texas. The results have been posted on the website and were directly distributed on March 12th to all Texas E-News subscribers via a Special Edition E-news:

Washington Area Highlights
The 29th Annual Sweethearts Mixed Doubles tournament held February 10-12, 2006 at the Blue Goose Tavern & Red Dog Saloon, Port Orchard, Washington area (owned by Dee Hudson) was a great success. The local cable television network provided equipment to video interviews and tournament play at this tournament. Norm McVeigh and Vern Gonzales were busy throughout the tournament with the video taping. This video will reportedly be aired on the local cable television channel. The tournament report was somewhat delayed due to the reporter having computer system problems, but have now been submitted and posted.
Upcoming Events & Results from Washington area are still coming in and a number of new items have already been posted (including results of the above 29th Annual Sweethearts Mixed Doubles, a new flyer for the 25th Annual Spokane Memorial Day Shuffleboard Extravaganza being held again at the Season Ticket in Spokane, a recently updated/posted Pacific NW Calendar, etc.)
