Happy 57th Wedding Anniversary (February 25, 2006) to...George & Donna Wilber
It's February 2006 & Love is in the Air!
Congratulations and Happy 57th Wedding Anniversary is extended to George & Donna Wilber, Founders of The Board Talk prior monthly table shuffleboard publication! George & Donna celebrated their 57th Wedding Anniversary on February 25, 2006. They were unable to get out and do any heavy duty celebrating because George had a terrible cold and Donna is still trying to
re-coup
from a severe case of shingles on her head and face. But, they did have
a nice evening together at home. Donna sent a photo of her shingles and
jokingly stated, "you can tell from the enclosed photo that my beauty
is what has kept him captivated all these many years!"
Donna's
is doing better, except for head and eye pain from the shingles (which
her doctors say can last for years). Her appointment and cat-scan
results with her cancer doctors in mid-February went very well. She
still has nodules but they are in remission with no growth, so that is
good news! She'll be x-rayed again in May and if the x-ray shows any
activity she will go back on chemo; if not, she'll go in again in
another three months for a follow-up x-ray. So, let's all pray the May
x-ray has good results.
