Update Pages in your Booklet:
The above changes are being made on the website (softcopy ratings
booklet & sort files, as any changes come in throughout
2007). There are two extra pages in the back of your booklet
where you can make notation of corrections (and/or use during the year
to make notes on unrated players, etc. to share with your raters before
the 2008 ratings are compiled), so you can mark above changes (esp
those that affect the whole# rating). Any/all updates will be
included in any re-prints of the 2007 Bowers Rating System booklets
(if/when our current supply of booklets is depleted).
Softcopy Rating Info Summary: We have provided the Bowers Ratings 2007 on our website in various sorts using Adobe PDF format. Adobe is a free download
from adobe.com (if not already installed on your system).
Adobe is user-friendly, searchable, and univerally
used. Other formats require software that one has to
purchase if not already installed on their systems (such as Microsoft
Word and Microsoft excel). So to reduce workload, we provide 2007
Bowers Ratings in Adobe PDF format for those that have not requested a
hardcopy booklet and/or wish to research the ratings by area,
state, player name, rating, etc. via the various sorts posted on the
website. Note (Adobe Reader): If/when you download a later version of the free Adobe Reader, it is usually recommended that you should uninstall any prior version(s) before installing the latest version. Adobe files on our website are best viewed with Adobe Reader 5.0 or later versions.
