available to order since January '08 (order your copies
now)
If you would like to
donate for ordering the 2008 Bowers' Rating Booklet and/or for
your use of the softcopy rating compilations (2008 Bowers Ratings State & All Player Sorts
excerpts) in chart below on this
page), you may send any/all donations to the Bowers (at below
address).
To order your 2008
Bowers' Rating Booklet, make your sponsor donation check, money order or cashier
check ($ amount of your choice, most people donate at least
$10-$20/per booklet - which helps us defray our costs of
printing and mailing the booklets and helps with the website
maintenance expenses where we post the most current rating
information) payable to: Debbie Bowers and mail request/booklet order
and sponsor donation to:

*NOTE:
The Bowers' Rating Booklets are printed in 8.5X14
(making each page 8.5X7/coil bound and color cover; a size and
format that fits nicely inside a purse or most weight cases and is
sorted by all players/last name only because that is the most
frequently used/needed format when looking up players names at
tournament registration). In addition, area sorts change
frequently when players move from city-to-city/state-to-state (for
instance) throughout the year. It would be too costly to print
multiple sort options in one booklet due to
volume/size/weight/mailing costs of including multiple sort options
in one printed booklet. Therefore, we offer some of the softcopy
sorts to view online for those wanting information only on their
area or for those looking for a specific rated player when trying to
build partners or teams or for those simply curious to know who is
the highest rated player in their state.

Do you have questions about the rating process and
schedules/deadlines for submissions for the 2008 Bowers Ratings?
New
Year 2008 Ratings were first posted on this website on January 12, 2008 (check back
periodically for any changes or updates that may come in throughout the
year).
2008
Rating Booklets booklets may be ordered by individuals who wish to get
their personal copy of the new rating booklets.
Next
Rating: First step - The Raters will be sent a letter asking them to
add any new players for the 2009 ratings that were not on the 2008
current ratings (all raters, please return by the deadline specified
in the letter to ensure the new players get added before the rating
sheets get mailed out to all raters to rate for Year 2009).
The new
players will be added and then a complete list of players will be sent
out to all raters with instructions and deadlines for submitting
the actual Year 2009 player ratings.
Raters
then will have to get their total ratings mailed and received by
Ron/Debbie Bowers by date that is specified by the Bowers'
Letter to Raters which goes out 4Q2008.
2008-2009
Raters and all rated players should ensure that the players names and
state of residence, etc. are all correct before the 2009 Ratings are
submitted.

compilation) - both operated on "volunteer staffing".
