There's been a lot of activity added (especially for the Valentine's Day timeframe - view all the "pulsing heart" entries in the February 2006 Upcoming Event Calendar - including some new activity going on in Las Vegas (sponsored by Olympic Shuffleboard) with more reportedly being planned in Las Vegas later in the year!) and yet another Indiana newspaper article on shuffleboard. In addition, a number of new items and flyers posted including a revised and updated Pacific Northwest Calendar and Canada events (short board & long board and Ontario Shuffleboard Association and League News) since the last newsletter earlier this month.
 
Jim Payne has recently provided a revised flyer for the annual March St. Patrick's Day tournament in Nebraska.

Personals Updates
Jim McDaniels, long-time player for the Northeast passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2006. All attendees of at the "Winter Blues at Market Street Booze" tournament on January 20-21, 2006 had a moment of silence for Jim Daniels before play began. Larry Nance, Austin area shuffler, had a heart attack last Wednesday (during his Pool League). He had stint insertion surgery for the blockages and is home now and reported to be recouping well. We all are wishing him a speedy recovery.
